Post-Conflict Reconstruction in Syria

We are delighted to invite you to a discussion on post-conflict reconstruction in Syria following the fall of the Assad regime, scheduled for 8 April, 2025. The discussion will be led by Professor Christie S. Warren, the Fulbright-Lund Distinguished Chair in Public International Law during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Professor Warren is an expert on post-conflict justice and the rule of law. She has designed, implemented and assessed programs in more than 58 countries throughout the world, including in Africa, Central and East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. She served as Legal Advisor during the Darfur Peace Talks and has advised on constitutional issues and processes in many countries. Professor Warren is based at William & Mary Law School in the United States, where she serves as Professor of Practice of International and Comparative Law and Director of the Center for Comparative Legal Studies and Post-Conflict Peacebuilding.
Professor Warren’s presentation will be followed by Q&A, which will be moderated by Professor Pål Wrange, Director of SCILJ and Professor of International Law at Stockholm University.
