The Swedish ILA hereby announces scholarships for participation in the ILA’s 82nd International Law Conference in Vienna on 17-21 August 2026. The scholarships amount to a maximum of SEK 21,500 and are mainly intended for students, doctoral students and other members of the Swedish ILA who are early in their careers and who cannot obtain funding elsewhere. The applicant should primarily seek funding through other grants and if full funding is not obtained, partial funding may also be granted.
The applicant must be a member of the Swedish ILA at the time of application and must attach a curriculum vitae and a financial calculation for travel, conference fee and accommodation to the application. Expenses are reported against the travel expense. The board of the Swedish ILA decides on scholarships at its discretion. Granted scholarship holders may also be asked to write a travel report after the conference.
Students and doctoral students must be able to present a copy of their Mecenat card or other student ID when registering on the conference website in order to receive a discounted conference fee.
Applications should be submitted as soon as possible and no later than Monday, April 13th to sekretariat@ilasweden.se.
